Keeping Busy at a PTA meeting

Last Thursday, (I know, I'm over a week behind) we had our monthly PTA meeting and the third graders were performing two songs. I got to the meeting with all four kids (Adam had a church meeting) on time and got Bekah into her classroom to wait for the performance. Once I got seated in the cafeteria, waiting for the meeting to start, Emma decided she was very bored. A nice man from the Corpus Christi Independant School District came to talk to us about the Bond Proposal that will be on our ballots next month. It was a great presentation, but this is what I was secretly doing the whole time to keep a bored child entertained... I really think she came to earth with the personalities of 3-4 children wrapped up in one! Here's a little video of Bekah's performance. She is very hard to see in it- second row, hair in a ponytail, glasses...

Emma--what a ham! A cute ham! You really have to do whatever you can to keep the kiddos entertained. Bekah did a very nice job! It is always so exciting to be the class that gets to "perform"

Hey - I say do what you gotta do to keep the peace. At least that will be my motto this weekend whilst flying. I am impressed you survived a long flight with 2 kids ;) I guess I really shouldn't complain.

Thought I'd say Hi! I found you from Rochelle's blog. Your kids are beautiful! And have grown so much! Its had to believe that 4 years ago we were Bekah sunbeam teachers. I remember how she talked about Emma before she was even born, like "Emma loves the color pink!" We just had our third kiddo and were still enjoying life in Minot. We're glad to see that all is well with you!
