Confession...

Hello, my name is Tynel and I am a Twiliholic. Admitting the problem is the first and most important step in overcoming any addiction. While I am not making excuses for my behavior, I know when it all began. On Friday, July 18th, I bought the first book at Target. I had heard so many great things about it and I just couldn't resist. I read the book every night in bed, stayed up until 2am night after night, read while drying my hair, read while eating my lunch, or during any car trip I expected to last over 3o minutes. My poor husband tried to act like a vampire just to get my attention!

I am proud to say that on Saturday, August 9th, I finished the fourth book and have walked away! I have been clean for three days now- I know that's not long, but I am quite proud of myself already! I actually fixed a real meal for my family today, I did the laundry, I spent time with a friend, and have returned to blogging. If any of you are a recovering Twiliholic, please feel free to share. I'm sure a group therapy session will do us all some good!

My name is Megan and I am a Tilightaholic. For the 4th book I actually waited to read it until I knew I had time, fully aware that things get pushed to the side. When I read 1-3 last summer I accomplished nothing. My husband was always to helpful and understanding though when he came home to a mess, a wife who hadn't gotten ready and no dinner. After asking why he was always willing to help so that I could read he said, 'The more I let you read now, the sooner this will all be over with' :) haha.

Now I know why you haven't posted in a while and it is completely understandable. I did it last year too. Welcome to the group!

My name is Chelsie, and I too am a Twilightaholic. I was trying to put off reading the fourth book until we go on vacation this weekend...because like Megan said...I knew what I was in for....Cooper entertain himself...cereal for dinner...and a messy house....so I started reading the series over again...thinking it would hold me over till this weekend...bad idea....then I just ended up reading all week and finished the 4th last night....my husband was so excited when I told him it was the last book....then I told him she was rewriting the series from edwards perspective...and the smile then faded from his face.

Hey, you sound like I did when I was reading the books. I was so addicted that I could not put them down. It took me a day to read each book. I finished Twilight and went and bought New Moon the next day and so on. My poor family felt pretty neglected!! My sister is so addicted that she started a Twilight Blog page and my daughters and I are contributors. Check out the site at http://twilight-to-breakingdawn.blogspot.com/
I've looked at other sites and I think ours is the best!! Let me know what you think.

I finished #4 yesterday...I started Monday while Christian was in surgery...to keep my mind off of reality. It was a lot of picking up and putting down but SOOooo worth it...I need a new interesting, sappy series!
